Fiji is located in the center of the Southwest Pacific Ocean, and well known as the “Pearl of the Pacific” and “Heaven on Earth”. The beautiful natural environment, unique resource endowment, warm and friendly people, and diverse cultures make Fiji a famous tourist destination. Fiji Water and Pure Fiji are also renowned worldwide.

Fiji is the first Pacific Island Country to establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China. Since China and Fiji established diplomatic ties in 1975, China-Fiji relations have developed steadily and produced fruitful outcomes in various fields. In November 2018, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with leaders and officials of the PICs including Fiji, that have diplomatic relations with China, and they agreed to elevate their relations to comprehensive strategic partnership featuring mutual respect and common development, which opened new chapter of the China-Fiji comprehensive cooperation.

Nothing, not even mountains and oceans, can separate people with shared goals and vision. The Chinese Embassy in Fiji is devoted to deepening China-Fiji friendly relationship, enhancing the governmental and people-to-people mutual trust and friendship, and continue to provide high-quality and efficient services for the Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese.
